In Telangana, the body of a 6-year-old girl accused of rape and murder was found on a railway track. The police have identified him from the tattoos made on the body. Telangana DGP has confirmed that the body is of P Raju (30), accused of rape and murder in Hyderabad’s Singareni Colony. With the discovery of the body of the accused, the opposition is raising questions on the Hyderabad Police and the government, because two days ago, the state labor minister Malla Reddy had said that we will kill the accused in an encounter.

Malla Reddy had arrived in Medchal-Malkajgiri district on Tuesday to attend an event. There he had said – the 30-year-old accused of raping will definitely be caught and he will be killed in the encounter. There is no question of leaving him. The trial of this case will be done expeditiously to get justice for the girl child. We will meet the family of the victim. Will help them and compensation will also be given.
Not only Reddy, the Congress MP from Malkajgiri had also spoken about the encounter of the accused. He made this statement when he was returning after meeting the victim’s family.
Neighbor accused of rape and murder of girl
The girl was raped and murdered on September 9. His body was found in a locked house. P Raju, who lives in the neighborhood, was the accused in this case. Telangana Police had formed 15 teams to arrest him and these teams were sent to Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh. The police had also announced a reward of 10 lakhs to anyone giving any information about this accused.
Two years ago, the accused in the Disha rape case also had an encounter
On November 27, 2019, a veterinary doctor returning home from the hospital was gang-raped in Telangana. After this the doctor was murdered and the miscreants burnt the body. Four lorry drivers and cleaners accused in this case were encounter by the police. The encounter took place at Chatanpally in Shadnagar, where the rapists burnt the doctor’s body. As soon as this news spread in the morning, people from the road to Parliament and social media had praised the police, but questions were also raised on the method of the police.
