New Deadpool & Wolverine trailer dropped this weekend.

A new Deadpool & Wolverine trailer dropped and it has hinted that this variant of Deadpool will be seen in the film.

Deadpool & Wolverine dropped a new trailer on the occasion of Best Friends’ Day and it teased the entrance of a new Marvel character. Deadpool and Wolverine are all set to make their Marvel Cinematic Universe debut this summer with Deadpool & Wolverine. While the trailers have hinted that we will see a Loki-style Void coming into play and multiple Deadpool versions coming to life, the new trailer hinted that we might see Lady Deadpool as well.

In the video, a different version of Deadpool was briefly teased and soon enough, fans began to speculate that Lady Deadpool might be making an appearance. Lady Deadpool first appeared in the comics in January 2010, in the comic book ‘Deadpool: Merc with a Mouth #7.’ The character belongs to the alternate reality Earth-3010. The appearance only cements the theory that most parts of the film are set in the void, first seen in Loki, and multiple versions of Deadpool will appear in the film.

Directed by Shawn Levy, Deadpool and Wolverine stars Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, Emma Corrin, Morena Baccarin, Rob Delaney, Leslie Uggams, Karan Soni and Matthew Macfadyen.

In a previous interview with Variety, Ryan Reynolds expressed his thoughts on Disney allowing Deadpool & Wolverine makers to push boundaries, stating, “I hope it doesn’t sound condescending, I’m really proud of them for doing this. I think it’s a huge step for them. I mean, it adds a whole other colour to this kaleidoscopic wheel that is that company and the different people that they have been entertaining forever. I was surprised though, that they let us go as hard R, but very grateful. I mean there’s no other way to do it. The rating really allowed us to do anything and everything in a world where anything and everything is possible.”
