Virat Kohli scored his sixth half-century of the season after RCB dismissed Faf du Plessis and Glenn Maxwell off consecutive balls and Mitchell Marsh hit two sixes.
RCB openers du Plessis and Virat Kohli got off to a solid start with the pair taking the score to 79/0 in 10 overs.
Kohli and du Plessis were cautious initially, especially due to Axar Patel turning the ball. Kohli, however, hit a boundary in each of the first three overs before du Plessis hit a flurry of fours. RCB made 51/0 in six overs.
RCB captain Faf du Plessis got it right in the coin toss and decided to bat first against DC at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. For DC, there is Mitchell Marsh and Mukesh Kumar, while Kedar Jadhav gets his first game of the season for RCB.

RCB will be hoping to fire together their top-order against DC tonight, who will be missing Anrich Nortje as the pacer has returned home due to personal reasons.
This is the second encounter between the two teams in this IPL. RCB batted first and set a target of 175 runs but DC scored 151/9 and the hosts won by 23 runs.
He said, ‘We need to control the run rate in the middle overs. We are a good death bowling unit and start well with the ball. We know that RCB’s batting line-up is top-notch. And if we can create trouble early on, we can restrict them to a manageable score,” DC bowling coach James Hopes said on the eve of the match.
