Tension for administration of vaccination, continue to follow CAB
Kupwara: The Deputy Commissioner, Kupwara, Imam Din today congratulated the people and various departments for helping the district achieve success in mitigation of COVID pandemic.
The Deputy Commissioner was addressing a press conference in his office room here today.
Giving information, the Deputy Commissioner said that so far 98.18 percent of people above 45 years of age and 35.29 percent of people in the age group of 18 to 44 years have been vaccinated. He said that the positivity rate has come down to 0.2% while the recovery rate has gone up to 98.6% which is a sign of satisfaction for the district.
The Deputy Commissioner reiterated his appeal to the people of the district to continuously follow the COVID appropriate behavior and other SOPs. He appealed to the people to come forward and get the COVID vaccine vaccinated at nearby immunization centers to protect themselves against the pandemic.
