Dalljiet Kaur was previously married to Shalin Bhanot. They tied the knot in 2009 but parted ways in 2015 after she accused him of domestic violence.
Dalljit Kaur has taken a dig at her former husband Salin Bhanot amid her separation from Nikhil Patel. Recently, one of the social media users commented on Dalljiet’s Instagram post and asked the actress to reach out to Shalin during this difficult time. However, Dalljiet reacted to it and said that he must be “too busy”.
“He has not reached messaged or reached out. I don’t think he is interested to know what must have happened with his son. He must be too busy,” she wrote.
Dalljiet Kaur was previously married to Shalin Bhanot. The two met on the sets of the show ‘Kulvaddhu’ and fell in love with each other. They tied the knot in 2009 but parted ways in 2015 after she accused him of domestic violence. They have a son named Jaydon, who lives with Dalljiet now.
Dalljiet Kaur’s Divorce Battle With Nikhil Patel
Dalljiet Kaur and Nikhil Patel tied the knot in March 2023. However, the two filed for divorce earlier this year i.e. after 10 months of their wedding. Nikhil confirmed their separation in May when he told E-Times, “In January this year, Dalljiet decided to leave Kenya with her son Jaydon and return to India, which ultimately led to our separation. We both realized that the foundation of our blended family wasn’t as strong as we had hoped, making it hard for Dalljiet to settle in Kenya. In March 2023, we held an Indian wedding ceremony in Mumbai. Though it held cultural significance, it was not legally binding. This ceremony was intended to reassure Dalljiet’s family about her move to Kenya.” Since then, the two have levelled several allegations against each other.
Last week, Dalljiet took to her Instagram handle and accused Nikhil of cheating. “Now I know there was no such thing as faith and loyalty, love and respect, togetherness and commitment. It was all about numbers from the very beginning and loyalty was never on the table. Numbers must be high so the switch happened quickly! Now I know, when I was being told “we will fix this” there was a replacement already being fixed too,” she wrote.
Recently, the actress also filed an FIR against Nikhil Patel at Mumbai’s Agripada police station. The FIR was filed under sections 85 and 316 (2) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. This means that Dilljiet accused Nikhil of cruelty and criminal breach of trust.
