Rumours of Dalljiet Kaur and Nikhil Patel’s separation first made headlines in February this year i.e. after 10 months of their wedding.

A day after getting trolled for sharing her wedding video online, Dalljiet Kaur has now deleted it. The television actress, who married Nikhil Patel in March 2023, has been making headlines for her separation from her husband.  However, on Sunday, she took to her Instagram handle and dropped her wedding video. The clip featured their grand wedding, moments from the Haldi ceremony and the reception.

In the video, Nikhil’s daughter from his previous marriage was also seen praising Dalljiet, saying that she was happy her father found someone. Dalljiet also talked about her relationship with her son, Jaydon. She mentioned feeling apprehensive about her second marriage but decided to take a deep breath and say, “Let’s do it.” She captioned the emotional video, “1 year three months back!”

However, soon after the video was shared, netizens expressed disappointment and fans thronged the comments section, trolling her. “Please try to move on,” one of the users wrote. “Have some self-respect. The man cheated on you,” added another. Later, Dalljiet also turned off comments on the post.

Rumours of Dalljiet and Nikhil’s separation first made headlines in February this year i.e. after 10 months of their wedding. It all started after the actress left everyone shocked by deleting all her wedding pictures from her Instagram handle. Not just this, she also dropped “Patel” from her name.

Earlier this month, Nikhil confirmed their separation when he told E-Times, “In January this year, Dalljiet decided to leave Kenya with her son Jaydon and return to India, which ultimately led to our separation. We both realized that the foundation of our blended family wasn’t as strong as we had hoped, making it hard for Dalljiet to settle in Kenya. In March 2023, we held an Indian wedding ceremony in Mumbai. Though it held cultural significance, it was not legally binding. This ceremony was intended to reassure Dalljiet’s family about her move to Kenya.”

“Despite our efforts, Dalljiet found it challenging to adjust to life in Kenya, missing her career and life in India. The complexities of our family dynamics became increasingly apparent,” he added.

This was Dalljiet Kaur’s second marriage. The actress was previously married to Shalin Bhanot but the two parted ways in 2015 after she accused him of domestic violence.
