Due to the storm of Gulab, heavy rain continues in some areas of Marathwada and Vidarbha of Maharashtra. The rains in the last two days have caused major damage to crops in 182 circles of eight districts. Kharif crops have been destroyed in Osmanabad in Latur district. Aurangabad, Latur, Parbhani, Hingoli and Nanded districts have been the most affected by the rains. Here 13 people have died in separate incidents of floods and lightning.

Heavy rain expected in next 24 hours in Maharashtra
Mumbai, Thane and Pune districts of Maharashtra are also receiving heavy rains. Water has started accumulating in low-lying areas of Mumbai. Office goers are facing difficulties due to working days. 7 teams of NDRF are engaged in relief and rescue work. So far more than 560 people have been evacuated in Marathwada. Officials said more than 200 animals were washed away and several houses were damaged due to the heavy rains. The Meteorological Department has issued a forecast of heavy rain in the next 24 hours in Marathwada, Mumbai and Konkan areas.

According to the Meteorological Department, the storm Shaheen will not hit the coasts of the western coast of India. It will move away from the coasts of Maharashtra and Gujarat towards Oman on October 1, but due to this, there will be heavy rains in the coastal parts of Maharashtra and Gujarat.

According to the weather report of the Meteorological Department and Skymet, there will be light to moderate rain in Rajasthan on Wednesday. Its effect will be more in East Rajasthan. According to the Meteorological Center Jaipur, light to moderate rain may occur in Jaipur, Udaipur, Bharatpur, Kota, Ajmer, Jodhpur and Bikaner divisions. At the same time, clouds and lightning can also shine in Ajmer, Banswara, Baran, Bhilwara, Bundi, Chittorgarh, Jaipur, Dungarpur, Jhalawar, Kota, Pratapgarh, Rajsamand, Sawai Madhopur, Tonk, Sirohi and Udaipur districts.
