CWC meeting today: Congress Working Committee meeting continues in Delhi, many big leaders of the party including Sonia-Rahul present

Congress Working Committee (CWC) meeting has been held at AICC Headquarters in Delhi. The meeting was called to discuss the agenda for the Chintan Shivir to be held in Udaipur. Many veteran leaders including former President Rahul Gandhi, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot were present in this meeting led by party President Sonia Gandhi.

Sonia said – the time has come to pay off the party’s debt

Sonia Gandhi has emphasized on re-strengthening the Congress in the meeting. He said that the party has always done good for all of us. Now is the time to repay the party’s debt. Sonia told the party members that there is no magic wand to strengthen the party, but now we have to work with selflessness and discipline.

He further said that we are going to have a meeting in Udaipur on May 13, 14 and 15, where 400 party members will attend. This meeting should not become a mere event but it should reflect the reorganization of the party.

Congress Chintan Shivir will be held from May 13 to 15
Congress is going to hold a Chintan Shivir in Udaipur from May 13 to 15. Many issues will be discussed in the meeting. Six different committees have been formed to work on these issues, in which Mallikarjun Kharge, Salman Khurshid, P Chidambaram, Mukul Wasnik, Bhupinder Singh Hooda and Amarinder Singh Waring have been included as conveners.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel attended the CWC meeting.

In today’s meeting, a new strategy will be prepared for the assembly elections to be held in Gujarat, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and other states of the country. It has been learned from the sources that in this meeting of CWC, there will be a discussion on changing the leadership in many states.

Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi and Manmohan Singh will also participate in the Congress Chintan Shivir to be held in Udaipur from May 13 to 15.
