With cut-throat competition and limited seats, the university acts as a melting pot of talent, attracting students from all corners of the country. Before starting the admission process, students must be familiar with the top ten colleges affiliated to Delhi University, as per the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) ranking for 2022.

Top 10 DU Colleges: NIRF Ranking 2022

Miranda House: Established in 1948, Miranda House is one of the top 100 ranked colleges in the country and has retained the first position for six consecutive years. Miranda House has got the first place in this

Hindu College: Established in 1899, Hindu College is one of the oldest and most renowned colleges in the country. Hindu College has got 2nd position in NIRF ranking for 2022.

Lady Shri Ram College for Women: Lady Shri Ram College established in 1956 has been ranked 5th in NIRF Ranking 2022.

Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College: Established in 1959, it is a co-ed college under University of Delhi and ranked 7th in NIRF ranking in 2022.

Kirori Mal College: Established in 1954 as a co-ed college, Kirori Mal College was ranked 10th in the NIRF Ranking 2022 and has distinguished alumni like Amitabh Bachchan and Naveen Patnaik.

St. Stephen’s College: It is one of the most famous colleges of Delhi University. Rahul Gandhi, among other eminent personalities, attended this college. St. Stephen’s College was ranked 11th in the NIRF 2022 ranking.

Shri Ram College of Commerce: Established in 1926 by industrialist Lala Shriram, SRCC is famous for its commerce, management and economics courses. SRCC was ranked 12th in NIRF 2022 ranking.

Hansraj College: Established in 1948, it is renowned as a college offering programs in the fields of liberal arts, science and commerce. It has esteemed alumni like Shah Rukh Khan and Anurag Kashyap. Hansraj College was ranked 14th in the NIRF 2022 ranking.

Lady Irwin College: Established in 1932, Lady Irwin College is located in the North Campus of the University of Delhi. The college was placed at 15th position in NIRF 2022 ranking.

Acharya Narendra Dev College: Acharya Narendra Dev College, located in Govindpuri, Delhi, was established in 1991. This college has been ranked 18th in the NIRF ranking of 2022.

This year, around 16 lakh candidates have enrolled Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG exam to get admission in Delhi University affiliated colleges. As per the official schedule, CUET UG 2023 will be conducted from May 21 to May 31 through Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.
