As a result, candidates could not complete the exam in the affected places. As a result, we had to cancel the second shift exam.” This was the first time that CTET was conducted in online mode.

Candidates who were to take the exam today said they were asked to leave the exam center within hours without giving them full time to complete the exam, while those who appeared for the exam yesterday claimed they had already covered hundreds of kilometers. have traveled. Know about the postponement at the last minute. Some candidates had to wait for hours outside the exam center only to know that the exam has been cancelled.

CBSE had given the responsibility of conducting the online examination to TCSION. CBSE had earlier said that the examinations were conducted online “to enhance the quality of a candidate entering the teaching profession.” It said that the online mode will motivate the teachers to adopt new age teaching techniques, promote computer literacy, prevent wastage of printing. paper etc.

CTET Shift 2 of 16th December and both shifts of 17th December are postponed, all the shifts starting from 20th December remain unchanged. The revised dates for the postponed shifts have not been released yet.

Earlier, after the leak of UPTET exam, there were also concerns about the security of CTET, although no leaks or violations have been reported so far. The exact details of the error are not yet available.
