CTET 2021: For the first time, the exam will be in online mode, apply from tomorrow; October 19 last date, CBSE issued instructions

On behalf of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), the online applications for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) will start from tomorrow, 20 September. For the first time this exam will be conducted on online mode. This exam will be held from 16 December 2021 to 13 January 2022. Guidelines have been issued by CBSE in this regard.

The 15th edition of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) will be conducted in CBT (Computer Based Test) mode from 16 December 2021 to 13 January 2022 as per the guidelines issued by CBSE. The exact date of the examination will be informed to the candidate on the admit card. The CTET exam will be conducted in 20 languages ​​across the country.

The detailed information bulletin containing the details of examination, syllabus, language, eligibility criteria, examination fee, examination city and important dates will be available from September 20 on the official website of CTET at https://ctet.nic.in. Interested candidates are requested to download the information bulletin only from the above mentioned website and read it carefully before applying.

Interested candidates are required to apply online only through CTET website i.e. https://ctet.nic.in. The online application-process will start from 20 September 2021 (Monday) and the last date for submission of online application is 19 October 2021 (Tuesday) till 23:59 PM. Fee can be paid before 15:30 PM till 20 October 2021 (Wednesday).

One thousand rupees will be the examination fee for the general and OBC category candidates. The examination fee for both the papers will be Rs 1200. For SC, ST and handicapped candidates, the fee has been fixed at Rs 500 for one paper and Rs 600 for both the papers.
