MI were 14 for 3 after 3 overs before Suryakumar Yadav and Nehal Wadhera calmed Paltan’s nerves as they shared a 55-run partnership for the fourth wicket to save MI from embarrassment.

Suryakumar was dismissed by Ravindra Jadeja after the stylish Mumbai batsman scored 26 off 22 balls. Wadhera stayed at the crease for a while and completed his half-ton before falling prey to Mathish Pathirana, who defended the youngster after scoring 64 off 51 balls.
