CSIR NET June 2021 revised datesheet released, exam from January 29

National Testing Agency (NTA) CSIR-UGC has announced the revised subject-wise and shift-wise exam dates for NET June 2021. As per the schedule, the exams will start from January 29. The examination schedule for Council of Scientific and Industrial Research National Eligibility Test (CSIR NET) was released on June 2021 at the official website, csirnet.nta.nic.in.

The exam was scheduled to be held on January 29, February 5 and February 6, but will now be conducted on January 29, February 15, February 16 and 17. The exam has been postponed after the candidates demanded rescheduling them to avoid clash with other major examinations scheduled to be held on 5th and 6th February.

CSIR NET June 2021 Revised Exam Schedule

29 January: Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Science (Shift-2)

February 15: Physics (Shift-2)

16 February: Mathematical Science (Shift-1) and Chemical Science (Shift-2)

February 17: Life Science (Group-1)(Shift-1) and Life Science (Group-2) (Shift-2)

The exam will be conducted on Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. Admit card is expected to be released soon. The admit card will contain all the important details including exam centre, shift and timing, name of the candidate and other important information.

CSIR NET or Combined CSIR-UGC NET exam is conducted for five subjects. NTA conducts the examination to recruit eligible Indian national candidates for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Lectureship and Assistant Professor posts in various universities and colleges.

The official notification, which was released online, states that the CSIR NET June 2021 admit card will be released soon on the official website. The page will be updated regularly with revised information. The admit card is likely to be issued around ten days before the scheduled exam date. Candidates who have registered themselves for the exam are advised to regularly visit the official website of NTA csirnet.nta.nic.in and nta.ac.in for latest updates.
