Kolkata Knight Riders’ (KKR) all-rounder Andre Russell has made some interesting revelations about his cricket and personal preferences. The 34-year-old Jamaican is currently plying his trade for the 2022 Indian Premier League (IPL) and became the fourth batter after Gautam Gambhir, Robin Uthappa and Yusuf Pathan to score over 2000 runs for the franchise.
The veteran also became the fastest batter (in terms of balls faced) to reach the 2000-run mark as he has an IPL strike rate of above 180. Back in 2019, Russell also won the award for the Most Valuable Player. Recently, in a video uploaded on KKR’s official YouTube channel, Russell talked about his favorite food in Kolkata, favorite actress and plenty of other things.
He also said that winning the 2014 edition of the IPL under Gambhir was his favorite moment. Moreover, Russell said that the legendary Cristiano Ronaldo, who is currently a part of Manchester United, is his favorite sportsperson of all-time.
