COVID: Chinese mainland reports 31 new locally transmitted cases

COVID: 31 new cases have been reported locally in mainland China.

The Chinese mainland reported 31 new locally transmitted COVID-19 cases on Monday, all in Jiangsu province, the National Health Commission said in its daily report on Tuesday.

In addition, 40 new imported cases were reported, of which 19 were reported in Yunnan, 13 in Guangdong, four in Shanghai, three in Jiangsu and one in Sichuan.

Four new suspected cases were reported from outside the mainland in Shanghai. No new deaths related to Kovid-19 were reported on Monday.
