COVID cases in Thane: 78 new COVID-19 cases reported in Thane city; Less than 900 active cases | Thane News – Times of India

Thane: Number of active patients as well as recovering more than new positive patients COVID-19 The cases in the city have come down to below 900.
On Wednesday, 78 people tested positive for the virus, taking the total to 1, 34,607.
The city also saw 96 recoveries. So far 1,31,682 people have been cured.
However, three people with co-morbidities succumbed to the virus. The total death toll has risen to 2,046.
Active cases are 879.
While the recovery rate is 97.83 percent, the doubling rate is 1,393 days.
Of the new cases, 17 tested positive Vartak Nagar15 in Majiwada-Manpada, 14 in Lokmanya-Savarkar Nagar, 12 in Kalwa, seven in Uttalsar, five in Diva, three each in Naupada-Kopri and Mumbra and two in Wagle.
During the day 6,249 people were vaccinated at government centers and 2,485 people at private centres.
