Victoria Police criticized ‘North Korea-style’ tactics after footage of someone checking their coffee cup on surfaces during Melbourne’s lockdown
Victoria Police have been reprimanded on social media for taking a luscious action to check a coffee drinker’s cup Melbourne.
The man – unseen in the video but believed to be immaculate – was drinking a takeaway coffee in a Melbourne park when police approached him.
One asked him if he could inspect the cup to make sure it contained coffee, shook it to confirm and returned the paper cup to him.
‘What if I check if there really is anything in it?’ The officer said while holding the cup.
When he withdrew after confirming that there was coffee in the cup, the officer hesitantly said to the man: ‘Enjoy your coffee.’
The man who is targeted by the police says, ‘Jesus loves you’.
