Some 618 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Israel on Friday, with 220 patients in critical condition, according to a Saturday evening update from the Ministry of Health.
Of the infected, 131 are on ventilators. The death toll is 8,085.
As of Saturday evening, 3,943,120 Israelis had received their third dose of the coronavirus vaccine.
