Covid-19: 57% jump in cases in Gujarat Ahmedabad News – Times of India

AHMEDABAD: After an 11-day low of 14 cases on Friday, the state again on Saturday reported 20 more cases than 22 – the 11th such instance in 16 days in October.
With 10 of the 22 cases reported from municipal corporations, 45% of the cases were from cities – with non-urban areas registering a rise in cases.
The new cases on Saturday include 5-5 each from Ahmedabad city and Surat, 4-4 each from Surat city and Valsad, 2 from Junagadh and 1-1 each from Vadodara city and Navsari. With the discharge of 21 patients, the active cases increased from 1 to 213.
