Varanasi: Out of 4,871 test reports, 188 persons tested positive for Covid-19 in Varanasi district on Wednesday.
According to the daily medical bulletin, 359 patients including 355 in home isolation and four in hospital facilities were declared cured, while four patients were admitted to the hospital. Currently, Varanasi has 1,566 active cases of Covid-19.
In Chandauli district, 48 persons including 23 women and four children tested positive while 50 patients were declared cured. The district has 162 active cases now.
Ballia district reported 23 new cases and 26 recoveries. The district has 200 active cases now.
