India’s indigenously developed COVID-19 vaccine Covaxin may soon get emergency use list by World Health Organisation, eventually enabling its recipients to travel abroad without mandatory quarantine, NITI Aayog member, Health, VK Paul said on Wednesday, September 15.
“Data sharing and data evaluation is underway and a positive decision may come soon. Data sharing and data evaluation is going through several reviews and we are close to a decision point,” he said.
