New Delhi: Kanpur based businessman Piyush Jain, from whom taxation officials have made “the biggest ever seizure of cash” in the raid, on Tuesday cited his case with the BJP and the Samajwadi Party as targeting each other in UP’s political struggle.

Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav retaliated. He categorically denied any connection between his party and Piyush Jain and joked that the BJP “accidentally” raided “its own businessman”.
Yadav told reporters in Unnao, “By mistake, the BJP raided the place of its own businessman. Piyush Jain conducted raids instead of SP leader Pushpraj Jain.
Responding to the PM’s attack on “corruption ke perfume”, the SP leader claimed that ‘Samajwadi Attar’ was launched by party MLC Pushparaj Jain.
Meanwhile, Union Home Minister Amit Shah also launched a scathing attack on the Samajwadi Party, when he said that for SP, ABCD means – ‘A’ means crime, ‘B’ means brother-nephew, ‘C’ means Corruption and ‘D’. For Danga.
