Corona Updates: Around 25000 new cases, 492 deaths in 24 hours in the country; Positivity rate in Mizoram is 22%

In the last 24 hours, 24,818 new cases of corona have been found in the country. During this, 492 patients died and about 42,000 patients have recovered. Less than 100 cases of corona have been reported in the last 24 hours in 8 states. So far 5,10,905 people have died due to corona in the country and 4.27 crore cases have been reported so far.

Here, in Mizoram, 1,119 patients have come to the fore in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases is 10,592. At the same time 752 people have recovered from Corona. The positivity rate in the state has reached 22.01%.

Cases doubled in Hong Kong in two days, no space in hospitals
Here, in Hong Kong, health services have collapsed after the cases of corona increased rapidly. There is no space left in hospitals. The situation is such that due to lack of space, patients have to treat patients on lawns and waiting areas outside the hospital. More than 40 elderly people queue up on beds outside Caritas Medical Center in Hong Kong Sham Shui Po, waiting to be admitted to hospital.

WHO said – stay quarantine for 7 days only
Amidst the decrease in the corona graph, the World Health Organization (WHO) has decided to reduce the time of quarantine of a corona patient. The WHO has said that only 7 days of quarantine will be necessary after recovery from the infection. Earlier, the infected had to stay in quarantine for 14 days.

Maharashtra: Decline in new cases, 40 deaths
In Maharashtra, 2,797 new cases have been found in the last 24 hours, while 40 people have died. There has been a decline in the corona graph in the state as compared to the previous days. On Thursday, 2748 new cases were found in Maharashtra, while 41 people died.

Madhya Pradesh: Deaths doubled, 1300 new cases
With the arrival of 1,328 new cases of corona infection in Madhya Pradesh, the number of infected has increased to 10,31,589. An official of the Health Department said that in the last 24 hours, 6 people have died due to this disease in the state and in total 10,709 people have lost their lives due to this disease in the state so far.

Uttar Pradesh: Deaths increasing rapidly, new patients decreased
In the last 24 hours in Uttar Pradesh, 467 new cases of corona have been found and 15 patients have lost their lives. On Thursday, 824 cases were reported in the state and 10 patients died. At the same time, a day before this i.e. on Wednesday, 1189 new cases were found in UP and five patients died.

Delhi: 739 new cases, 5 deaths in 24 hours
In Delhi, 739 new cases of corona have been reported in the last 24 hours and 5 patients have died. On Thursday, 766 cases were found in the national capital. However, the death case has been stable for the last three days. According to the Health Department, a total of 18.54 lakh cases of corona have been reported in Delhi so far.
