Corona Updates: 28,918 infected found in the country in 24 hours, 513 deaths; Increase in new cases after one consecutive week of decline

In the last 24 hours, 28,918 new cases of corona infection were found in the country, 82.29 thousand patients were cured, while 513 people died due to corona infection. The cases of corona infection were decreasing continuously since the last one week i.e. 8 February, but they have increased in the past day. There have been about 1,500 more cases on Tuesday than on Monday.

The number of people who lost their lives due to corona infection has also increased after two days. The number of people who lost their lives from Corona on Sunday and Monday was close to 350, which increased to more than 500 on Wednesday. However, the number of people who got cured on Tuesday also increased as compared to Monday. On Monday, 82,817 people had defeated the disease, while 82,916 people were cured on the previous day.

For the first time in the third wave, active cases are less than 3.61 lakhs
At present, 3.61 lakh people are getting treatment for corona in the country. For the first time after the third wave, active cases have come down to 40 thousand. Earlier on January 5, 2.85 lakh people were undergoing treatment. The third wave had the highest number of 22.49 lakh active cases on 23 January.

1. Kerala: An increase of about 2 thousand in new cases
Here on Tuesday, 11,776 new infected have been found, while 32,027 patients have been cured and 304 people died. Earlier on Monday, 8,989 new infected have been found, while 24,757 patients have been cured and 117 people died.

Since the beginning of the epidemic, a total of 64.27 lakh people have been affected by the infection here. Of these, 62.40 lakh people have been cured, while 62,681 people have died.

2. Maharashtra: Deaths nearly tripled
In Maharashtra, 2,831 new cases of corona have been found in the last 24 hours. During this 35 people died and 8,695 people were cured. A day before this, 1,966 new cases were found on Monday. During this 12 people died and 11,408 people were cured.

Since the beginning of the epidemic, a total of 78.47 lakh people have been infected here. Out of these, 76.69 lakh people have been cured, while 1 lakh 43 thousand 451 people have died.

3. Madhya Pradesh: Slight drop in new cases and 3 deaths
In Madhya Pradesh, 1,222 cases were reported in the last 24 hours and 3,452 people were cured. During this 3 people died. A day before this, 1,760 cases were reported on Sunday and 4,555 people were cured. During this 4 people died.

So far, more than 10.28 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 10.03 lakh people have been cured, while 10,700 people died. 14,696 patients are currently undergoing treatment.

4. Gujarat: The number of people recovering more than double compared to new cases
On Monday, 998 new cases were found in Gujarat. 2,454 people defeated Corona, while 16 people died. A day before this, 1,040 new cases were found on Monday. 2,570 people defeated Corona, while 14 people died.

So far, a total of 12.17 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 11.95 lakh people have been cured, while 10,838 people have died. There are 11,195 active cases here.

5. Uttar Pradesh: 5 people died of corona infection
There were 1,189 new corona cases in the last 24 hours. 2645 people were cured and 5 people died. Earlier on Monday, 1,233 new corona cases came. 1,501 people were cured and 1 person died.

So far 20.60 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 20.24 lakh people have been cured, while 23,404 people have died. 12,484 patients are currently undergoing treatment in the state.

6. Rajasthan: Death toll doubled compared to the previous day
In Rajasthan, 1,387 cases were reported in the last 24 hours and 2,381 people were cured. During this 12 people died. A day before this, that is, on Monday, 1,102 cases were reported and 3,178 people were cured. During this 6 people died.

So far, more than 12.68 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 12.40 lakh people have been cured, while 9,481 people died. 17,976 patients are currently undergoing treatment.

7. Delhi: Continuous decline in new cases
On Sunday, 756 new corona cases were reported in Delhi and 5 people died. 830 people were cured. A day before this, 586 new corona cases were reported and 4 people died. 1092 people were cured.

So far, more than 18.52 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 18.23 lakh have been cured, while 26,081 died. Presently 3,337 patients are undergoing treatment.

8. Punjab: More than twice the number of new cases cured
In Punjab, 272 new infected have been found on the last day and 13 people have died. 806 people have also recovered from the infection. A day before this, 297 new infected have been found and 14 people died. 769 people also recovered from the infection.

So far 7.56 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 7.35 lakh people have been cured, while 17,623 people have died. The total active cases are 2,933.
