Corona LIVE in the country: 2.34 lakh new cases were found, 893 deaths in the last 24 hours; 75% adults fully vaccinated, PM congratulates

2.34 lakh new corona infected were found in the country on Saturday. At the same time 893 people died. The good thing is that during this period 3.51 lakh people have also recovered. On Friday, 2.35 lakh cases and 871 deaths were registered. That is, the new cases have decreased slightly as compared to the previous day.

For the last 9 days, it is seeing a steady decline. During the third wave, on January 20, the maximum number of 3.47 lakh new cases were found. At present, the number of active cases i.e. patients undergoing treatment in the country is 18.77 lakh. Since the beginning of the epidemic, about 4.10 crore people have been affected by the infection in the country.

Meanwhile, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya has informed that more than 75% of adults in the country have been fully vaccinated. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated him on this achievement.

Condition of 5 most affected states
1. Kerala: 55.41 lakh people beat Corona
On Friday, 50,812 new infected have been found in the state, while 47,649 patients have been cured and 94 people died. A day before this, 54,537 new infected were found on Friday. There has been a decrease of 3,725 in new cases on Saturday as compared to Friday.

So far, a total of 59.31 lakh people have come under the grip of infection. Of these, 55.41 lakh people have been cured, while 53,191 people died. The number of active cases is 3,36,202. The positivity rate here is 45.79%.

2. Karnataka: Positivity rate reduced to 19.37%
33,337 new cases have been found in Karnataka on Saturday. While 69,902 people defeated Corona. During this 70 people died. A day before this, 31,198 new cases of corona were found on Friday and 50 corona infected had died. At present, the number of patients undergoing treatment here is 2.52 lakh, while the positivity rate is 19.37%.

3. Maharashtra: 103 people died on Saturday
In Maharashtra, 27,971 new cases of corona were found in the last 24 hours. During this 61 people died and 50,142 patients were cured. A day before this, 24,948 new cases were found on Friday. During this 103 people died.

Now the total active cases in the state have come down to 2.44 lakh. So far, a total of 76.83 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 72.92 lakh people have been cured, while 1.42 lakh people died. The positivity rate is 16.47%, the day before that on Friday, the positivity rate was 16.53%.

4. Tamil Nadu: 1% reduction in positivity rate from yesterday
On Saturday, 24,418 new cases were reported here. 27,885 people were cured and 46 people died. Earlier on Friday, 26,533 new cases have been reported. 48 people have lost their lives. So far, a total of 33.03 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 30.57 lakh people have been cured, while 37,506 people have died. Here the active case is 2,08,350 and the positivity rate is 17.32%.

5. Gujarat: Cases decreased but still reached the top 5
On Saturday, 11,794 new cases were found in Gujarat. In the state, 21,655 people defeated Corona while 33 people died due to it. Earlier on Friday, 12,131 new cases were found and 30 people died. So far 11.44 lakh people have come under the grip of the virus. The death toll due to Corona has reached 10,408. On Friday, 12,131 new cases were reported here, while 22,070 patients were cured and there were no deaths.

1. Andhra Pradesh: Positivity rate reduced by 2%
In the last 24 hours, 11,573 new cases were reported here, while 9,445 people were cured and 3 people died. 12,561 new cases were reported here, while 8,742 people were cured and 12 people died. So far 22.60 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 21.30 lakh people have been cured, while 14,594 people have died. Active cases are 1,15,425. The positivity rate has come down from 30.91% to 28.68%.

2. Rajasthan: 22 people died in 24 hours
10,437 new cases were reported here on Saturday, while 16,054 people were cured and 22 people died. Earlier on Friday, 8,125 new cases were reported, 21 people died. So far, 11.89 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 11.05 lakh people have been cured, while 9,224 people died. There are 74,849 active cases here.

3. Madhya Pradesh: Positivity rate increased by 1%
In Madhya Pradesh, 8,678 cases were reported in 24 hours and 10,576 people were cured. During this 5 people died. A day before this i.e. on Friday, 7,763 new cases were reported and 6 patients died. So far, more than 9.50 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 8.73 lakh people have been cured, while 10,607 people died. 66042 patients are currently undergoing treatment. The positivity rate is 11.75%.

4. Uttar Pradesh: 20.05 lakh infected so far
8273 new corona cases came here in the last 24 hours. 13,910 people were cured and 25 people died. Earlier on Friday, 7,877 people were found infected and 14 deaths were recorded. So far 20.05 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 19.22 lakh people have been cured, while 23,164 people died. 55,601 patients are currently undergoing treatment in the state. The positivity rate in the state is 4.08%.

5. Odisha: 15 people died in 24 hours
In the last 24 hours, 4842 new cases were registered in Odisha. During this 10,267 people were cured and 15 people died. So far 12.41 lakh people of the state have come under the grip of infection. At the same time, the death toll has reached 8575. The total number of active patients in the state is 48266. The positivity rate is 7.58%.

6. Delhi: Positivity rate continues to decline
On Saturday, 4483 new corona cases were reported in Delhi and 28 people died. 8807 people were cured. A day before this, on Friday, 4,044 new cases were registered and 25 people died. So far, more than 18.23 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 17.73 lakh have been cured while 25,797 have died. The positivity rate in Delhi was 30% on January 15, which has come down to 7.41% on Saturday.

7. Haryana: 5% drop in infection rate
In the last 24 hours, 4,445 people were found infected in the state. 6,223 people have been cured and 13 people have died. On Friday, 4,630 people were found infected here and 19 people have died. So far, more than 9.42 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 9.01 lakh people have been cured, while 10,269 people died. A total of 30,197 patients are currently undergoing treatment. The positivity rate was 17.87% a day ago which is now 12.63%.

8. Jammu and Kashmir: 5 people died in 24 hours
In the heaven of earth, Jammu and Kashmir, 4175 new corona cases have been reported in the last 24 hours. During this, 7107 people were cured and 5 people died. So far 4.28 lakh people of the state have come under the grip of infection. 3.81 lakh people have defeated Corona, while 4652 people have died. The infection rate in the state is 5.46%.

9. Chhattisgarh: The number of new infected has decreased
On the previous day, 3783 new infected were found in the state. 4776 patients were cured and 15 people died. Earlier on Friday, 3,919 new infections were found and 11 patients died. So far, 11.20 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 10.81 lakh people have been cured, while 13,824 people died. A total of 25,115 patients are currently undergoing treatment. The positivity rate is 8.62% which was 8.24% on the previous day.

10. Telangana: 3,590 new cases, 2 deaths
Telangana has received 3,590 new cases on Saturday. During this 3,555 patients were cured, while 2 people have died. A total of 07.58 lakh cases have been found in the state so far, while 7.14 lakh people have recovered. A total of 4085 people have died. The active case is 40,447. The positivity rate here is 3.76%.
