48,618 new cases were found on the last day
On Friday, 48,618 new corona infected were identified in the country. During this 64,524 people defeated Corona but 1182 people died. At the same time, a decrease of 17,101 has been recorded in the number of active cases ie the number of infected people undergoing treatment.
It is a matter of concern that the infection rate in 10 states still remains more than 5% amidst the situation under control of Corona in the country. That is, in these states, more than 5 patients are still being found for every 100 tests. These include Sikkim, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Kerala, Nagaland, Goa, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha and Arunachal Pradesh.

These include Kerala, Bihar, Delhi, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Uttarakhand, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Assam, Manipur, Tripura, Andhra Pradesh and Gujarat.
Telangana first state to completely lift lockdown
Meanwhile, the Telangana government has completely lifted the lockdown in the state from June 20. It has become the first state in the country to completely lift the restrictions amid the pandemic. Schools will also be opened here from July 1.

- Regarding the Delta Plus variant, Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan has written a letter to 8 states on Friday evening, directing them to send samples for testing and genome sequencing. Along with this, the states have also been asked to create containment zones with immediate effect in the districts where delta plus cases have been found.
- The eight states to which the letter has been written by the Health Ministry include Rajasthan, Karnataka, Punjab, Jharkhand, Haryana, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu.
- Earlier, ICMR DG Dr. Balram Bhargava told that Delta Plus variant is currently present in 12 countries. So far 50 cases have been identified in 11 states in the country.

1. Maharashtra

2. Chhattisgarh

3. Uttar Pradesh

4. Rajasthan
On Friday, 131 people were found corona infected here. 277 people were cured and no one died. So far 9.51 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 9.41 lakh people have been cured, while 8,905 patients have died. At present, 1,873 patients are undergoing treatment.
5. Gujarat
On Friday, 123 people were found corona positive in the state. 431 people were cured and 3 died. So far, about 8.23 lakh people have come under the grip of infection. Of these, 8.08 lakh people have been cured, while 10,045 patients have died. 4,116 infected are being treated here.
6. Delhi
115 people were found corona positive in Delhi on Friday. 198 people were cured and 4 died. So far 14.33 lakh people have come under the grip of infection. Of these, more than 14.06 lakh people have been cured, while 24,952 patients have died. 1,680 patients are being treated here.
7. Madhya Pradesh
On Friday, 50 new cases were reported here. 198 people were cured and 22 people died. So far 7.89 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 7.79 lakh people have been cured, while 8,831 people died. 1,110 patients are currently undergoing treatment.
