There is a steady increase in the cases of corona in the country. On Wednesday, 45,975 new patients were found. 35,091 were cured and 507 died. In this way an increase of 10,365 was registered in the active cases.
In the last 8 days, more than 40 thousand new cases have come 7 times, while the patients undergoing treatment in 9 days i.e. active cases have increased by about 70 thousand. There were 3.13 lakh active cases on 23 August, which are now 3.82 lakh.

Status of major states:
1. Kerala
On Wednesday, 32,803 people were found infected here. 21,610 people were cured and 173 people died. So far 40.90 lakh people have come under the grip of infection here. Of these, 38.38 lakh people have been cured, while 20,961 people have died. Presently 3.82 lakh patients are being treated.
2. Maharashtra
On Wednesday, 4,456 people were found infected here. 4,430 people were cured and 183 died. So far 64.69 lakh people have come under the grip of infection. Of these, 62.77 lakh people have been cured, while 1.37 lakh people have died. Presently 51,078 patients are undergoing treatment.
3. Chhattisgarh
31 people were found corona positive in the state on Wednesday. 52 people recovered. So far 10.04 lakh people have come under the grip of infection. Of these, 9.90 lakh people have been cured, while 13,555 people have died. There are 391 patients who are undergoing treatment.
4. Uttar Pradesh
On Wednesday, 16 people were found infected here. 20 people were cured and 2 died. So far, more than 17.09 lakh people have been infected in the state. Of these, 16.86 lakh have been cured, while 22,825 patients have died. 250 patients are being treated here.
5. Delhi
On Wednesday, 36 people were found corona positive in Delhi. 42 people were cured. So far 14.37 lakh people have come under the grip of infection. Of these, more than 14.12 lakh people have been cured, while 25,082 patients have died. 343 patients are being treated here.
6. Rajasthan
Here on Wednesday, 5 coronas were found infected, 21 were cured. So far 9.54 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 9.45 lakh people have been cured, while 8,954 patients have died. Presently 81 patients are undergoing treatment.
7. Gujarat
On Wednesday, 13 people were found corona positive in the state. During this 10 people also got cured. So far, about 8.25 lakh people have come under the grip of infection. Of these, 8.15 lakh people have been cured, while 10,081 patients have died. Treatment of 153 infected is going on here.
8. Madhya Pradesh
On Wednesday, 11 new cases were reported here and 07 were cured. So far 7.92 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 7.81 lakh people have been cured, while 10,516 people died. 83 patients are currently undergoing treatment.
