It is the culture and tradition of the country to fulfill the wish of the one who is not there. But some people who are ignorant, do dynastic politics and indulge in sycophancy will not understand its importance.
In one of his emotional speeches, Naqvi was referring to Kalyan Singh’s wish that he wants his body to be covered with the BJP flag.

However, constitutional expert and former Secretary General of Lok Sabha Subhash C Kashyap He said that he does not think that covering half the national flag with the BJP flag is an insult to the tricolor.
He said that as per the rules, anyone who disrespects or contemplates the Indian National Flag will be punished. “But in this case no one has shown any such disrespect or contempt. There should be no politics on this matter. This is a serious matter as a senior leader has passed away and his wish has been respected without disrespecting the national flag. This is the infrastructure to take up this issue.”
Kashyap further said that he does not think that anyone had any intention to disrespect the national flag. “Whether this is an insult to the national flag or not is a matter of opinion,” he said.
But another former Lok Sabha Secretary General and constitutional expert PDT Achary He said that covering the national flag with the BJP flag is an insult to the tricolor. “Only the national flag is used to wrap the body of a VIP. No other flag is raised over it. This is not done,” he said.
