Kashyap further said that he does not think that anyone had any intention to disrespect the national flag. “Whether this is an insult to the national flag or not is a matter of opinion,” he said.
But another former Lok Sabha Secretary General and constitutional expert PDT Achary He said that covering the national flag with the BJP flag is an insult to the tricolor. β€œOnly the national flag is used to wrap the body of a VIP. No other flag is raised over it. This is not done,” he said.
