Superstar Prabhas recently announced his film with director Hanu Raghavapudi. This comes after the massive success of his film Kalki 2898 AD; he also has Raja Saab in the pipeline. The film with Hanu Raghavapudi also stars Mithun Chakraborty, Iman Esmail and Manvi in prominent roles. It is produced under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers. The film is tentatively titled Fauji. The much-anticipated project was launched with a puja ceremony in Hyderabad on August 17. Mythri movie makers shared the pictures from the puja ceremony, which took the internet by storm. It featured the lead pair, Prabhas and Iman Esmail aka Imanvi posing together for the pictures. Iman is not only popular on social media, she also earns a good income from her YouTube channel; she reportedly earns Rs 4 to 5 lakh per month from her channel. With her strong background, it is no surprise that she is rumoured to earn over Rs 1 crore for her role in this film with Prabhas, making a strong entry into the Telugu film industry.
In 2020, her choreography for the song Ramta Jogi from Taal surfaced on the internet creating a massive buzz on social media. In 2023, her other dance performance in the song Tum Tum from Enemy also went viral which helped her to receive several acting opportunities. Iman Esmail is from Los Angeles, but presently resides in New Delhi.
Imanvi started her acting career with a short film named Unannounced. She has also worked in a short film named Being Sa-rah which speaks about Pakistani immigrants. Starring opposite Prabhas will be a big opportunity for her.
The new film is a period drama set in the era of Subhash Chandra Bose, with Prabhas in the role of an army officer in a romantic story. The film is being produced on a grand scale by Mythri Movie Makers, and a special set is being built at Ramoji Film City for the majority of the shooting. This film marks Prabhas’ return to the romance film genre after the mixed response to Radhe Shyam at the box office.
