Congress has played a big electoral gamble to get power again in Punjab. The upper caste commission will soon be formed in Punjab. It was approved in the Punjab cabinet meeting on Thursday. On Friday, CM Charanjit Channi gave this information during a press conference in Chandigarh.

He said that there are many such people even in the general category i.e. upper castes, who are poor and needy. They cannot be heard. Now this upper caste commission will also listen to them so that the benefits of government schemes can reach them too.

The commission will hear the general category

CM Charanjit Channi said that there are many needy people in the general category as well. In view of whose problem, this commission is being formed. Now they can be heard through the General Category Commission. This commission will protect the interests of the unreserved class along with better implementation of government schemes. Earlier such a commission has been formed in Gujarat also.

After SC Chief Minister, trying to reach out to the upper castes

Congress made the first SC Chief Minister in Punjab after the removal of Captain Amarinder Singh from the CM’s chair. However, this does not send a wrong message to the upper castes, so now efforts have been made to cultivate them too. There has also been a continuous voice raised by the unreserved class about this, that the reserved classes get their demands accepted and they are also heard through the commission but no one asks them.

Serious on Hindu vote bank, Geeta-Ramayana Research Center will be built in Patiala

The Congress is also concerned about the nearly 38% Hindu vote bank in Punjab. Therefore, approval has been given to make Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta and Ramayana Research Center in the cabinet. This center will be built in the Open University being built in Patiala. CM Channi said that it is the land of the government. On which this research center will be built. Patiala is the stronghold of Captain Amarinder Singh, so with this bet, an attempt is being made to defeat the Captain in the urban seat.
