The Congress on Monday released a list of AICC delegates from Delhi, including former prime minister Manmohan Singh, party general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and former Union minister Jagdish Tytler, whose names figured in the probe panel’s report on the 1984 anti-Sikh riots.

Former Congress President Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi Among the elected members of AICC is Uttar Pradesh, which has the largest number of representatives.

Delhi Congress chief Anil Kumar Chowdhary, former Union minister Ajay Maken and former AICC general secretary (organisation) Janardan Dwivedi are among the AICC representatives elected from Delhi.

The list of elected representatives also includes Devendra Yadav, Manish Chatrath, Abhishek Dutt, Krishna Allavaru, Arvinder Singh Lovely, Sandeep Dixit, Subhash Chopra and Alka Lamba.

AICC members co-opted from Delhi include Pravin Davar, former Delhi ministers Haroon Yusuf and Krishna Tirath, boxers Vijender Singh, Ragini Nayak and KB Byju.

Hitting out at the Congress over Tytler’s election, BJP spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia said the Congress’s action showed that Rahul Gandhi, during his Bharat Jodo tour, had talked about “mohabbat ki dukan” which was actually “hate”. is opening a shop.

As I said earlier, there is a serious dislike for Sikhs in the DNA of the Congress.” Once a strong Congress leader in Delhi, Tytler’s name figured in a report by the Nanavati Commission that probed the anti-Sikh riots.
