Hitting the ground running in the poll-bound Karnataka, Union Home Minister Amit Shah called both the Congress and the JD(S) ‘parivaravadi’ (dynastic politics) and urged the people of Mandya and old Mysore region to support the BJP and bring requested. In power with majority in the state.

Time and again these two parties have stalled the progress of Karnataka through corruption.” Stating that the time has come to be free from ‘nepotism’ and corruption, Shah appealed to the people to form the BJP government once again with an absolute majority. Accusing both Congress and JD(S) of being “corrupt, communal and protectors of criminals”, he said, “In the next five years under the leadership of Modiji, we will take Karnataka forward on the path of progress.”

Recalling that he had started campaigning for the 2018 Assembly polls from Mandya, he said, the people of Karnataka gave the BJP a chance to form the government by making us the single largest party.

Then in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, under Modi’s leadership with 52 per cent vote-share, Karnataka got 25 out of 28 seats for the BJP, he said.
