College student dies after falling from a moving train: He was doing stunts on the footboard of the train with friends, the video just before his death surfaced

A 19-year-old college student died after falling from a moving train in Chennai. He was traveling standing on the footboard of the train. The deceased has been identified as Neeti Devan, a resident of Thiruvalangadu. He was a BA Economics student at Presidency College. Police said that Niti was returning home from college. He was standing in the footboard of the train, slipping his foot, he fell down from the moving train. After this he was admitted to the government hospital in Tiruvallur for treatment, where he died during treatment.

Later, a video went viral on social media, in which Neeti is seen traveling with her college friends standing on the footboard of the train. It is seen in the video that some students are doing stunts by standing on the window of the train. They are also dancing by playing a song in a loud voice.

Railway said – do not travel standing at the door
Southern Railway has expressed grief over this accident. The Divisional Manager has appealed to the passengers not to travel standing on the footboard or window of the train, such stunts can take your life. When the train is running, close the gate of the train and do not travel standing at the door.
