A seven-year-old Taiwanese boy who was in a coma for more than two months during a judo class was repeatedly thrown to the floor, a hospital said on Wednesday.
The boy, identified only by his family name Huang, was taken to Fang Yuan Hospital in central Taichung city on April 21 after he was allegedly thrown 27 times by his judo coach.

Prosecutors said in a statement that his coach, best known by his surname Ho, was indicted earlier this month on charges of grievously injuring children and using children to commit crimes.

The boy complained of a severe headache, but Ho threw it a dozen more times, causing him to vomit.
Prosecutors said the coach did not stop until Huang fainted and fell to the floor.
Local media cited his family as saying that he was thrown about 27 times. Prosecutors said his head hit the floor repeatedly but did not say how many times.
According to Taiwan’s Central News Agency, Huang pleaded with the coach several times to stop, saying he couldn’t bear it any longer.
The boy’s uncle reportedly attended the class but failed to stop the coach. “I wish you could rest in peace in another world and the justice system would finally bring comfort to your family,” Taichung City Mayor Lu Xiao-yen said in a post on his Facebook page.
