CNG prices have increased manifold after the central government hiked the price of domestically produced gas by 62 per cent since October.
Since August, ATGL has extended CNG Prices in Ahmedabad rose by 14% by Rs 7.69 per kg, or five hikes. The company’s CNG price at the beginning of August was Rs 55.30 per kg. Now its price is Rs 62.99 per kg (inclusive of tax).
NS Adani Group The company revised the prices of CNG at regular intervals and increased the price of CNG in Ahmedabad by Rs 10.63 per kg since January, when it was priced at Rs 52.36 per kg. The rate was revised with effect from January 25.
state-run Gujarat Gas Ltd. has also raised its CNG price by Rs 8.33 per kg or 16% from August. After keeping its price unchanged for more than a year and a half, the company made its first revision of 2021 on August 24, when it raised CNG prices by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 54.45 per kg.
