CM Charanjit Channi is holding an emergency meeting in Chandigarh amid Congress discord in Punjab. After the meeting on Sunday, many speculations are being made about its importance. If sources are to be believed, the CM is meeting senior ministers of his cabinet. First he met Minister Tript Rajinder Bajwa. After this, Brahmamohindra and Pargat Singh also met. Apart from this, some ministers and Congress leaders have also met him. The meeting is being held at the Punjab Government’s guest house in Chandigarh. It is believed that the government’s stand on the big issues of Punjab is being discussed.

CM on target of his own party chief

After becoming CM in Punjab, Charanjit Channi is on target of his own party chief Navjot Sidhu. The controversy started with the appointments. which continues till now. Every government tries to divide the public’s attention near the elections. In Punjab too, there was a ruckus over Captain Amarinder Singh’s Pakistani friend Arusa Alam. However, suddenly Sidhu took entry and said that the government should solve the big issues. Sidhu said that he will not deviate from big issues. The situation did not improve even after changing the head, CM and in-charge

To resolve the discord in Punjab Congress, Congress first removed Sunil Jakhar. Navjot Sidhu became the head in his place. After this, Captain Amarinder Singh was removed from the chair of CM. Charanjit Channi came in his place. In the end, Punjab Congress in-charge Harish Rawat was also discharged. Harish Chaudhary came in his place. Despite all this exercise, the discord in Punjab Congress is not stopping.

Amarinder’s bets also worry

The challenge of the Congress government in Punjab is not only Sidhu but also Captain Amarinder Singh. Which can prove to be a big political threat from the government to the Congress organization. Amarinder is soon going to announce the formation of his party. After that there is a possibility of a massive break-up in the Congress. Especially, the heat of the ongoing war between the CM and the party chief will also affect the ticket distribution.
