The meeting of Punjab CM Charanjit Channi and 32 farmer organizations is over. There was no agreement on loan waiver in this. CM Channi said that there will be a meeting again about this. Describing the meeting as a success, CM Channi said that 17 out of 18 demands have been accepted. At the same time, farmer leader Balveer Rajewal said that the Chief Minister has accepted the demands but will be satisfied only when they are implemented.

After the meeting, CM Charanjit Channi said that on the agriculture law, we have brought a proposal as per the instructions of the farmers. Passed a resolution not to implement black law in Punjab. Apart from this, the Contract Farming Act of 2013, similar to the black laws of the Akali government, has also been repealed.

  • In Chandigarh also, the pamphlets were registered on the farmers on June 26, will meet the governor to get them canceled.
  • The pamphlets registered on stubble burning in Punjab have also been cancelled. Further, they have been appealed not to burn the stubble.
  • Cases of compensation are being made afresh in the project being built under Bharatmala project.
  • Action will be taken against Fatehabad based company selling fake seeds. A case will be registered against the officer giving bad seeds of Panseed and he will be sent to jail.
  • Pension scheme will be made for farmers and farm laborers.
  • The process of appointment of Vice Chancellor in PAU is going on, it will be completed soon.
  • In Firozpur, an attempt was made to mount a car on the farmers. In this case has been registered against 3 Akalis. Will arrest you in a day or two.

On this occasion, CM Charanjit Channi said that he has told the farmers that if the United Kisan Morcha asks, they are ready to join the movement even after resigning from the government.
