Budgam: A civilian suffered a leg injury when terrorists fired upon security forces in Lasipora Khag area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district, police said on Tuesday.
A police spokesman said that terrorists fired upon security forces during an operational duty near Lasipora Khag village, injuring Bilal Ahmed Rather, a resident of Charihar, in the leg.
“The condition of the injured is stable and the area adjacent to the incident site i.e. Lachmanpora Beerwah has been cordoned off and search is on,” police said. The identity of the injured person is also being ascertained. (GNS)
