Riya Agarwal topped the ISC exam with 99.75 percentile and has received admission offers from 5 UK universities including the London School of Economics.

Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) ICSE (Class 10) and ISC (Class 12) Result 2023 released on 14th May. The board recorded a pass percentage of 98.94 in class 10, while the success rate in class 12 was marginally lower at 96.93 per cent. This year girls have outperformed boys with a pass percentage of 99.21 per cent.

Nine students shared the top rank in class 10 with 99.80 per cent marks. The ICSE toppers for 2023 are Shreya Upadhyay, Tanay Sushil Shah, Ananya Karthik, Hiya Sanghvi, Yash Manish Bhasin, Sambit Mukhopadhyay Avishi Singh, Rushil Kumar and Advay Sardesai. ,

On the other hand, five students shared the first rank in class 12th with 99.75 percentile. Riya Agarwal, Mohammad Aryan Tariq, Subham Kumar Agarwal, Ipshita Bhattacharya and Manya Gupta were the toppers in the 12th examination.

Apart from topping the Class 12 exams, Riya Agarwal from Guwahati has grabbed headlines for another remarkable achievement. Riya, a student of Sanskriti-The Gurukul, Assam has topped the ISC examination with 99.75 per cent. He has received offers of admission from five prestigious universities in the United Kingdom. This includes offers from University College London, the London School of Economics and the University of Manchester.

I had not imagined this before the ISC result screen appeared in front of me. I used to study only when I felt like it, but when I did, my full attention was on what I was studying. Usually I used to study for three to four hours a day. She took up humanities in class 12 as she wanted to explore her creative side.

With clarity about what she wants in the future, Riya has already identified the path she wants to pursue. “I think I am studying B.Sc Politics and Economics at the London School of Economics because it has been a dream career for me,” she said.
