It was Ananya’s second appearance on the show and she revealed quite a few interesting things about her life, career, friends, her industry peers and more. She also confessed that her father Chunky Pandey has seen his share of failures that had taken a toll on her and her sister Rysa. ETImes got in touch with Chunky who is nothing but proud of his daughter’s stance. The proud daddy lauded her appearance on the show. “I am feeling on top of the world. She carried herself so well in KWK. I am very proud of her and feel that she should never lose that honesty in her,” he tells ETimes.
Chunky Pandey did taste success with some of his initial films like ‘Aankhein’, ‘Vishwatma’, ‘Aag Hi Aag’, however he later faced rejections and disappointments in his career. Speaking about appearing on a talk show during his younger days, Chunky shared, “In our days we had ‘Phool Khile Hain Gulshan Gulshan’ with Tabassum. It’s been 30 years now since that episode.”
After treating the audience with his last Bollywood outing ‘Housefull 4’, an OTT series ‘Abhay’ and his Gujarati debut film ‘Nayika Devi – The Warrior Queen’, Chunky is all set to make his Tamil debut with Karthi’s ‘Sardar’.
