A cholera outbreak in Nigeria has killed 325 people this year.

According to health officials, between January and June this year in Nigeria, cholera outbreaks in 15 states and the capital Lagos have killed 325 people.

Cholera is a highly virulent disease characterized by the sudden onset of acute watery diarrhea in its most severe form that can lead to death from severe dehydration.
