Kollywood star Chiyan Vikram was recently admitted to a hospital in Chennai. On Friday, the actor was supposed to attend the teaser launch of his upcoming film Ponniyin Selvan but could not make it there due to his health issues.
However, he was present at the grand audio launch of his upcoming film Cobra and put an end to all the speculations and concerns about his health.
Vikram reacted interestingly on the platform to the news of his hospitalization and said, “There was a lot of news going around on social media platforms. Some people even photoshopped the body of a sick patient with my face. It was extremely creative. I liked it. But what you saw was nothing like it.”
Vikram’s much awaited film Cobra is all set to hit the theaters on August 11 this year. The album of the film was released on 11 July, and the track list was revealed a day earlier, i.e. on 10 July.
There are a total of five songs in the album of the film. Thumbi Thullal, Adheera, Uyir Urugudhe, Tharangini, and Yeli Elanching are some of the characters. AR Rahman has written all the songs and the first three have already been released. Vivek, Jitin Raj, Pa Vijay and Thamrai have written the lyrics.
Apart from Chiyan Vikram, who plays the mathematical genius in the film, the film stars Srinidhi Shetty and cricketer Irfan Pathan, who will make his film debut with the project. According to sources, the filming took longer as the story was not completely written.
The fact that Vikram will be playing 20 different characters in the film is the most interesting aspect of it. Each character will be dressed differently. This breaks Kamal Haasan’s Dashavataram record of playing ten different characters.
