It was directed by K Raghavendra Rao. However, not many know that he was shooting for another film which went on floors before Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari. It also featured Sridevi and Chiranjeevi. However, the project got stalled due to budget and busy schedule of other actors.
The stalled film was being handled by Sridevi’s own production house. The film went on floors with a puja program under the direction of A Kodandarami Reddy. However, this could not be accomplished. It was one of Chiranjeevi’s first films which could not be completed.
There were many such films in Chiranjeevi’s career which started but were never completed. Abu-Baghdad Gajdonga and Vinlani Undhi are also on this list.

As far as his upcoming work is concerned, the fans of Megastar are waiting for his film Acharya. In this film, he will share screen space with Ram Charan, Kajal Aggarwal and Pooja Hegde. The release date of the film has been postponed several times due to Kovid-19. The film was supposed to release on February 4 but will now release in the end of April.
