China’s military’s Eastern Theater Command said Chinese warplanes followed and monitored the movement of the US aircraft P-8A Poseidon as it passed over the Taiwan Strait on Friday.
A spokesman for the Eastern Theater Command said, “Recently, US ships and aircraft have frequently conducted provocative activities, which fully proved that the United States is a disruptor of peace and stability in the Taiwan Strait.”
