Lt. Col. Elad Goren has been appointed on Tuesday Head of the Humanitarian-Civilian Effort in the Gaza Strip during a meeting with IDF Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, the IDF reported.
Goren’s new position, which is within the Civil Administration Unit, also includes a promotion to the rank of Brigadier-General.
