Ever since actress Chhavi Mittal was diagnosed with breast cancer, she has been constantly updating her fans and followers about her health and recovery. Her timeline is filled with posts from her hospital as she continues to document her journey. Now, the actress has given a shout out to her three-year-old son, and how he has reacted to the whole situation. In her note to her son Arham, she called him the ‘big boy’.
She began her note by writing, “The story of my battle with cancer is incomplete if I do not mention the role of this little man. Of the things I did to prepare for surgery, I feared the most was to tell @arhamhussein that I won’t be around for a while. But coming from a kid who hadn’t even turned 3 then, it was a surprisingly unexpected reaction! For someone who cried every morning before I left for office, suddenly turned into a big boy! Not only did he not cry in my absence, he also behaved well with his caretakers, whom I had deployed in my absence. And when I came back from the hospital and needed to recover, he made sure to remind me over and over again that I wouldn’t pick him up because I was “hurt.”
He continued, “He used to ask me over and over again how my “hurt” was and would ask me to show stitches. I would tell him I was feeling better and he would tell me “But the little one is still there”. He pressed my feet with his little hands, he hugged me very carefully, every time he asked me which was my right side (because I had my surgery there) and it hurts if he hugs me”
