Chhattisgarh Shocker! 14-year-old boy held for abducting, raping, killing 8-year-old girl in Raipur

Raipur: A 14-year-old boy has been arrested for allegedly raping and killing an eight-year-old girl in Raipur. The boy lives in the same building where the minor girl lived. Raipur Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Prashant Agarwal said, “The complaint about the missing eight-year-old girl was received on the evening of December 7. Acting on the complaint, the police registered a case and started searching for the girl.” “Five days later, the minor girl was found dead at an isolated place just behind the colony where she was staying. During subsequent investigation, the police arrested the accused, also a minor, who lived in the same building where the girl lived. Aggarwal said. He added that the accused raped the girl and strangled her to death, further investigation is underway.

Meanwhile, BJP supporters staged a protest in the state capital on Thursday, holding the government and the police responsible for the incident. Senior BJP leader Sanjay Srivastava said, ‘What was the fault of that 8-year-old girl and her family that she had to lose her life? The government and the police administration are responsible for this incident.

He said, “The entire state has become a den of crime. No one is safe in Chhattisgarh today. There is no such crime which is not happening in the state today.
