Chhattisgarh Dharma Sansad: The religious leader praised Godse; FIR lodged – Henry’s Club

About 20 religious leaders participated in the two-day ‘Dharma Sansad’ of Chhattisgarh Raipur This weekend, some speeches asked “Sanatan Hindus” to give themselves up arms and one of them even praised Nathuram Godse for assassinating Mahatma Gandhi. Later on Sunday evening, an FIR was registered against ‘Saint’ Kalicharan, who made a statement against Gandhi.

More than 20 religious leaders from the state and across the country gathered in the two-day ‘Dharma Sansad’. In the speeches, the leaders urged “Sanatan Hindus” to arm themselves and be “ready” to establish a Hindu Rashtra.

‘Saint’ Kalicharan, a religious leader from Maharashtra, made a derogatory statement against Gandhi and accused the minorities of trying to control the politics and administration of different countries.

Following his statement, the convener of the Parliament, Mahant Ram Sundar Das, the head of the Dudhdhari Math, lodged a strong protest and distanced himself from the Parliament, claiming that it was not fruitful. An FIR was registered against Kalicharan late on Sunday night under sections 505(2) and 294 of the IPC.

Congress leader Pramod Dubey and BJP Leaders Brijmohan Agarwal and Vishnu Dev Sai. Swami Prabhodananda Giri, who had earlier made a statement at the controversial ‘Dharma Sansad’ in Haridwar, also attended the event.

He said, ‘I have no hesitation in repeating what I said in Haridwar and before that too. All these secular people are anti-Hindu, even if someone talks about Hinduism, their stomach hurts.” Triveni Das, a religious leader of the state, was one of the first to call for ‘all Hindus’. He called himself a ‘Hindu’. Weapons were asked to be given for the defense of the nation.
