Olympic players will enjoy a dinner cooked by Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh today. In which the captain himself will cook food for them by becoming a chef. Hockey players are excited about the captain’s invitation. Neeraj Chopra, who won the Olympic Gold Medal in Javelin Throw, will also be a special guest at the Captain’s Dinner.

The Punjab Government had organized an honor ceremony for the medal winners in the Tokyo Olympics. The Captain Government gave 32 crores to the Olympic players
Captain Amarinder Singh had given a reward of 32 crores to the Olympic players on behalf of the Punjab government. In this, Rs 2.51 crore was given to the men’s hockey team that won the Olympic medal after 41 years. This team from Punjab included Captain Manpreet Singh along with Mandeep Singh, Hardik Singh, Varun Kumar, Harmanpreet Singh, Rupinderpal Singh, Simranjit Singh, Gurjant Singh, Shamsher Singh, Dilpreet Singh and Krishan Pathak.
Players from Punjab, Reena Khokhar, Gurjit Kaur and discus thrower Kamalpreet Kaur from Punjab, who finished fourth in the Olympics, were given Rs 50 lakh each. Apart from this, boxer Simranjit Kaur, shooters Anjum Modgil and Angadvir Singh, athletes Tejinderpal Singh Toor and Gurpreet Singh and Paralympic badminton player Palak Kohli were given Rs 21 each. At the same time, Neeraj Chopra, India’s only gold medalist in Tokyo Olympics, was rewarded with Rs 2.51 crore.
