Manchester City are one win away from winning their maiden UEFA Champions League title when they take on Italian heavyweights Inter Milan in the final at Istanbul’s Ataturk Olympic Stadium on Saturday, 10 June. The Citizens are chasing a famous English treble after winning the English Premier League and FA Cup title this season while Inter Milan, who won the Coppa Italia this season, will be eyeing a fourth Champions League trophy.

English giants Liverpool beat Italian side AC Milan in the 2003 Champions League final at Istanbul’s Ataturk Olympic Stadium and Manchester City will be looking to emulate that triumph 20 years later. They beat Real Madrid 5–1 in the semi-final to book their place in the final. The Nerazzurri, on the other hand, beat seven-time champions AC Milan 3–0 to reach the final.

It is only the second time the Citizens have reached the summit clash in the UCL, but given their form and dominance in English football, they enter Saturday’s final as favourites.
